BIS-net offers a range of services, providing support for parents and carers struggling to cope with challenging or aggressive behaviours in the home, or supporting an individuals whose behaviour is causing them to be isolated and excluded from aspects of society and community.
We currently offer the following services listed below. For more detail on each one, click on the title to take you to the dedicated page for that service.
Relationship Development Invention is an on-going Intervention aimed at allowing parents to understand and rebuild their child social and relational development difficulties. The programme is charged at £35 per hour and generally families meet with the consultant once a week. There is also a £30 monthly charge for access to the online platform giving you access to so much information and opportunities to share with RDI consultants and families all over the world.
Typical cost of programme = £150 per month
For some families Challenging Behaviour has escalated to such a point that they need to find appropriate behaviour strategies fast. For others, they want to learn the best ways to support their child now and in the future and get on top of challenging and socially isolating behaviours now before they escalate. This programme is designed to be delivered over 6 weeks, with families meeting with the consultant weekly for an hour. These hourly session cost £35 which includes all planning and work done by the consultant away from meetings.

In order to make the community around us more understanding and supportive of individuals with behaviour support needs, BIS-net provides bespoke training packages for schools and community services. The focus is currently on the Exeter and Devon area, however we are hoping to work with other services further afield in the future. We have provided training to several local schools including Clyst Vale CC, The WESC foundation and Ladysmith School, with upcoming bookings for session at Ratcliffe school in Dawlish. As well as several local community services including Exeter Library, The Bike Shed Theatre and Alphington Sainsbury’s.

- Behaviour Support Enabling and Youth Services
BIS-net works closely with other CEDA services in order to provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities or social and emotional difficulties. BIS-net allows these services to train staff and provide appropriate behaviour support that is person centred and positive. Visit CEDA’s website for more details on these services.
Typical cost of Behaviour Support Enabling = £16-18 per hour. This is based on a 1-1 support staff.
